“New Frontiers” Launched

The long awaited Federal Parliamentary Inquiry report into Approval Process for New Drugs and Novel Technologies has now been released. The recommendations from this report have the potential to greatly improve the health and medical landscape for Duchenne and Becker families. More streamlined and less bureaucratic drug approvals processes, heightened clinical trial activity and more involvement of community members in health technology assessment processes are just some of the recommendations stemming from the Inquiry.The active participation of our community in this Inquiry process has been acknowledged with our input reflected in all recommendations.
