We welcome Dr Kan Hor as a Medical Advisor to Save Our Sons Duchenne Foundation. 

His expertise will guide and enhance the Save Our Sons Team and Board.

As Medical Advisor he will offer input in both medical treatment and strategies while also helping as a scientific advisor for trials and novel therapy.

Dr.Kan Hor MD is a well respected paediatric cardiologist is the director of Cardiac MRI at The Heart Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital and an associate professor of Clinical Paediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Hor received his medical degree from University of Illinois-COM, Chicago and completed his paediatric internship and residency at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Dr. Hor continued his training and completed his paediatric fellowship training at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Hor completed an additional advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital with a focus on cardiac MRI. Dr. Hor's clinical interests include cardiac MRI, cardiac CT angiography, echocardiography (TTE and TEE) and congenital heart disease. His academic research interest includes cardiac MRI and echocardiography and its application for analysis of cardiac strain and synchrony in Duchenne muscular dystrophy, heart failure and congenital heart disease. Dr. Hor collaborates with many other researchers around the globe and is board certified in both paediatrics and paediatric cardiology.
