About the day
A day built for the Becker community

We're excited to share the draft agenda for Australia's very first Becker Education & Engagement Day (BEED), taking place on 23 October in Melbourne — and we'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback.

This important event is proudly hosted by Save Our Sons Duchenne Foundation and has been developed specifically for the Becker community. As we finalise the program, we want to ensure the day reflects the needs, interests and experiences of those living with Becker muscular dystrophy, their families and the wider community.

We invite you to review the draft agenda and share your feedback.

Want to be more involved?

We're also looking for a community member who would like to help shape this event — either by joining the planning committee or participating in a lived experience panel during the day. If this is something you would be interested in, we would love to hear from you.

Share Your Feedback

As this will be the first BEED event held in Australia, your feedback and ideas are incredibly valuable. Please share your thoughts with us over the next week so we can incorporate your input into the final program.

We look forward to bringing the Becker community together for this important and meaningful event. Thank you for your support.

Kind regards,
