Walk 4 Duchenne 2027 · School visits

Bring Walk 4 Duchenne to your child’s school

Every year the Walk 4 Duchenne team visits schools to talk about Duchenne and support the child living with it. We’re planning our 2027 visits now — if you’d like us to visit a child’s school, register your interest below.

Anyone can register — parent, grandparent, aunty, or family friend.

Why we come to schools

A chance for classmates to understand Duchenne

Duchenne muscular dystrophy is rare, so the students sitting alongside a child who lives with it often have no idea what it is, why they might tire more easily, or why they might use a wheelchair.

A school visit is a chance to change that — the team talks to students about Duchenne, and stands alongside the child at the heart of it.

Every walk. Every school. One reason — the kids living with Duchenne.

Register a school visit

Registering doesn’t lock anything in — it lets the Save Our Sons team know a child’s school would like a visit, so they can plan the 2027 schedule and get in touch with you about what’s possible.

Questions before you register?

Register your interest and the Save Our Sons team will be in touch to talk it through.
